When the show season ends and the crowds fade, the work is far from over. Winter is rebuild season, when the team spends their days stripping the monster truck.
The process begins with the body being fully removed from the truck. Any damage from the season has been carefully repaired before we repainted and had a fresh set of stickers applied, giving the truck a renewed look ,celebrating 25 years, ready to stand out when it returns to the arena.
We have removed the engine and sent it away to be fully checked over. Every component is inspected, repaired where needed, and refreshed to ensure it’s performing at its absolute best. Once complete, the engine is reinstalled, and tested, ready to deliver the power and reliability required for another hard season.
We have stripped both the front and back axel, inspected them in detail, and rebuilt piece by piece. This process ensures everything is safe, strong, and ready to handle the punishment that only a monster truck can deliver.
The shocks have also received an upgrade, we have added some lovely new bits, improving their overall aesthetics and adding a fresh, clean look to the suspension setup.
We have been busy, repainting the truck’s chassis, protecting it from wear and giving it a renewed finish beneath the body, even roping in the youngest crew members from time to time to have some fun painting.
We have replaced several of the Lexan windows that were cracked, keeping visibility clear and the truck looking sharp.
Beyond the truck itself, we have renovated the trailer and finished it with an all-new design and fresh stickers.Keep your eyes peeled on the roads and at shows this year.
The winter rebuild is about more than maintenance—it’s about pride, preparation, and making sure everything is ready to put on the best possible show. When the engine fires up again and the season begins, every detail reflects the countless hours of work done behind the scenes to keep this monster truck performing and looking its best.
